Hi, I’m Ruth John —a 5-star, multi award-winning holistic practitioner based in Barry, South Wales, working online and in person across South Wales and the UK.
I created Reset Wellbeing TM, a dedicated Wellbeing Studio, to ethically and professionally to support people through life’s most challenging transitions in a calming and beautiful space.
I’m qualified in multiple therapeutic modalities, some including:
My approach blends science-backed therapies with a warm, down-to-earth presence. I believe being well should feel safer, empowering, and deeply human—not clinical or overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating grief, trauma, or a difficult diagnosis, I offer a space where you can feel seen, supported, and gently guided toward lasting change.

Using a trauma and nervous system-informed, integrative approach, I help clients regulate their nervous system, shift limiting beliefs, and reconnect with their inner resilience.
This takes place in my uniquely designed 12 Week Reset Wellbeing Programme, if we’re seeking lasting change this takes time.
Outside of 1:1 sessions, I also run Signature Group Resets, therapeutic retreats, and training qualifications that welcome anyone curious about the benefits of complementary therapies.
These group experiences are designed to be inclusive, empowering, and deeply restorative—whether you’re navigating something specific or simply seeking a more aligned way to live.
I live in Barry with my young family and our beloved Show Type Cocker Spaniel, Clover, who’s currently in training to become a Therapy Dog. Clover brings a gentle, intuitive energy to my work and is already adored by clients.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring the local beaches and forests, experimenting with essential oils, crafting or dreaming up new ways to make holistic healing more accessible and impactful.
