Reiki Level 2 Training (Usui Okuden) IPHM Accredited

Accredited IPHM Reiki Level 2 Usui Okuden, with Award Winning Reiki Master Teacher and Mentor, Ruth John

2 day, in person training, Saturday 26th – Sunday 27th April 2025 11am – 4pm each day. Coursework requirements following training. Certificates given upon completion of case studies. 

In person: Reiki level 2 prepares you to deliver Reiki to paying clients, and as such the in person aspect of the qualification has a firm focus on how to create an ethical and responsible space for your practice and how to ensure you look after yourself and your clients during Reiki sessions. This cannot be done within 1 day, with more and more people turning to alternative wellness practices to support their emotional, mental and physical health, its more important than ever to lead with integrity. The time spent in person will ensure you are confident to deliver a thorough hands-on experience, intake and follow up with clients, learning additional techniques that will support your clients and protect yourself. The professional and extensive workbook will act as your go-to guide on theory. You will take part in an Okuden attunenement ceremony which will support your confidence in delivering this level of Reiki.

Hot and cold drinks and lunch provided. Please bring your own additional snacks if required. 

Following the course: You will complete 6 case studies in person and 3 case studies at a distance, filling in the relevant coursework documentation as you go. Whilst other Reiki courses pass your Reiki Level 2 on the training day itself, Reset Well-being holds standards high and we believe in order to responsibly and ethically provide Reiki to paying clients, this step helps students to develop the necessary skills to hold Reiki sessions with a variety of people, lifestyles and access reasons.

After support: You will have the opportunity to join a student what’s app group where you can receive ongoing support. You will also have the opportunity to attend in person student share sessions that are open to all Reset Well-being Students. These are held at The Reset Well-being Hub once a month on a Monday evening, for £20 per person. A confidential, professional and integral space to practice, share, learn and grow. Discounts are not given to re-train with Ruth.

Reiki level 2 Okuden, is the advanced level of Reiki training that teaches you how to provide others with Reiki, both in person and at a distance. In Reiki level 2, you will learn the three Reiki symbols that enhance and focus the Reiki energy for different purposes: the power symbol, the distance symbol, and the mental/emotional symbol. You will also receive another attunement that will increase your ability to channel Reiki energy. Topics covered in Reiki level 2 are:

• Intake, Assessment and Follow up forms and procedures
• Safeguarding yourself and your client
• Reasons clients might access your services
• How the nervous system plays a part in healing
• Healing technique for others
• Reiki symbols and their uses in healing
• Appropriate layering techniques to support a well rounded and professional Reiki session for your clients
• How to look after yourself, best practice
• How to balance the energy and chakras of yourself and others
• Distance healing technique for people, animals, plants, and situations
• Mental/emotional healing techniques for yourself and others, based on a series of entry reasons
• How to use Reiki for personal growth and spiritual development
• Client consultation, book keeping, insurance
• How to work ethically and responsibly
• Level 1 marketing for a successful Reiki business

Reiki level 2 is suitable for anyone who has studied Reiki level 1 and wants to deepen their practice and become a Reiki practitioner. It is also the prerequisite for Reiki level 3 (master level)

Groups are purposely kept at no more than 5 students, so that plenty of time and energy can be put into each students progress.

Training is held at the Reset Well-being Hub, 120 Holton Road, Barry, CF36 4HH. 

You may wish to stay overnight at local hotels and air BNB’s, in Barry, Cowbridge or Dinas Powys.
