Somatic Sound Bath

£35.00

Somatic Sound Bath

What to expect: a 90 minute session that involves lying down comfortably and being bathed by the vibrational healing sounds of the symphonic and Chinese Chau gong, Tibetan sound bowls and crystal quartz chakra bowls.

You’ll be gently guided by Ruth, on ‘take home’ gentle reconnective breathing practices and three somatic practices that aim to down regulate the nervous system and proactively build vagal tone.

What’s included: Mats with fluffy rugs, weighted eye masks filled with lavender and chamomile, cushions and teddy fleece blankets. With pure essential oil blends in the humidifier and a cosy environment. Take home somatic practices that can be used far beyond the session itself.

How many people attend? Just 8 people, the perfect number for a calming and authentically soothing experience.

Where: Held at The Reset Well-being Hub 120 Holton Road Barry. You’ll see a shop called Chocolate Orange Interiors and the hub is located inside and upstairs. Parking can be found behind Barry Library or within Court Road multistorey car park. Please give yourself enough time to find parking.

How do I get into the building? Ruth will open the doors 10 minutes before the session starts, and doors will close at the start time of the session with no exceptions. It is your responsibility to arrive on time.

What shall I wear and bring? Comfortable clothes, layers help as you can feel temperature changes during this therapy. Please wear, or bring socks to keep your feet cosy! Your equipment is provided, but you may wish to bring a water bottle.

What’s this good for? Sound therapy is excellent for pain relief, soothing stress and anxiety, creating time to intentionally rest and recover. Sound therapy can help us reconnect our mind, body and self and offer the opportunity to reflect at ease.
